I have been waiting 3-4 hours for one of my withdraws and around over 2 for a deposit. Is there something wrong?

i had the same with a withdraw been like 6 hrs and has not show up. message SR but they have not replay back yet.

SR - as seen on their main site: silkroadvb5piz3r.onion has closed for awhile. The message reads "The site is closed for just a few minutes. Please be patient and we'll be back up shortly.". However the title of the website reads "the silk road has moved". I believe this is just an oversight while the SR Staff has used the same "down for maintenance" page as they did when they changed the URL. I have a large amount of bitcoins in transit and am waiting to see how this pans out.

One of my withdrawals has not went through either.... I have also contacted SR via the main site. This sucks but I'm sure it'll be worked out.

Has not been received in my bitcoin wallet. This has happened before to me with 37btc and SR went and looked the transaction up in blockexplorer but never gave me the coins. Still a bit pissed off about that and if I will not got the the btc this time ill call it a day for online vending trough SR...
edit: after writing this message my transfer shows up (after 8 hours and having a up to date blockchain all the time) lol :P

I transferred 109BTC from mt gox to my wallet yesterday evening (nearly 24hrs ago) and still haven't seen anything. Messaged SR twice.
I swear, there is always SOME issue with getting my BTC. I finally found what I thought was a solid, fast, cheap way (BTC in your account within minutes!). Yet here I am, again holding other people's money with my thumb up my ass. :-(

Got it again, about 18 blocks afterwards :P My guess is that SR isnt paying any transaction fees and thats why they take so long before they get processed.

I am having the same problem. I made a withdrawl of 10BTC about two hours ago and the transaction has yet to show up in my wallet. I checked block explorer and there has never been anything sent to the address I used. The money just doesnt seem to be going anywhere.
Edit: As soon as I wrote this post the money showed up unconfirmed in my wallet. All is well now, seems unusually slow though.

After reading this thread over again it's coming together, I believe there may be something being updated at SR Headquarters since as of this minute withdrawals are disabled. It seems like a bit of tweaking might be taking place so the sort of thing experienced in this thread won't happen anymore and things will be on point as usual.

Im having problems again. I withdrew a few btc yesterday at around lunch time and I still have no seen the deposit in my account. Blockexplorer also shows no coins transfered.

Still dont have the coins in my wallet SR... Whats that about? Im seriously loosing my cool with all these fuckups lately, can you or a admin/mod get this resolved?
I got the error "Error. Try again in a minute or two." again, same thing happened last time when my withdrawal went MIA...

I have a small (~0,2 BTC) that didnt go through. Im hesitant to transfer more than a few BTC, since there seems to be quite a few issues.

I just had a similar problem. Sent under 10 bitcoins from my Silk Road total to my bitcoin wallet and the transaction didn't go thru at Silk Road - got a white screen, no confirmation but the amount was deducted from my total. Waited a few minutes and tried again with the same amount. The second time got the red "payment sent" message on the Silk Road screen and it showed up a minute or two later in my bitcoin wallet. It looks like the first transaction did not go thru but was deducted from my Silk Road available funds. I will wait for the first transaction to show up but I think the bitboins are lost to the ether.

Me too.
Just under 1btc withdrawn about 20 hours ago, not showing up in my wallet yet.
After trying the withdrawal, I just got a blank screen for several minutes. Then I clicked 'back' and got the error message saying 'try again later' or whatever it was.
Now the problem is I want to send a load of BTC into my SR account to see if I can take advantage of the customer appreciation deals... I have about 4 hours left but I am not sure if I want to risk sending a load to the SR in case they disappear too!!
Oh what to do......

Hey SR guy, if you're reading all these posts this is why you need 24/7 support through jabber or email that somebody actually responds to. Or at least posted working hours. On big carding forums, there's a guy who does all their escrow who's always online. When he's asleep, he has somebody else doing it to ease fears of vendors and buyers when there's problems.

I've made a couple withdrawls in the past 4 hours , and havn't seen anything yet (the longest i've seen it take to date was about 2 hours)

They have got issues at the moment.
They've already refunded me twice in the past 48 hrs saying it should be fixed now but it looks like my 3rd attempt is going the same way.
I hope they finally get to around fixing this as it's been a consistent problem for a long time now.

I should report that SR admin responded to my PM within 24 hours, and credited the coins back to my account, saying they think they have it fixed now.
I don't think I'll withdraw the small number of coins still in my account just yet - it's not a lot and I'd rather wait until it's definitely fixed.
There must be some pretty nervous vendors at the moment if this is widespread.

SAME PROBLEM OVER HERE WITH WITHDRAW ERROR ISSUE'S AND LOST OF BITCOINS.
THIS EFFECTS REALLY MY RE-STOCK OF ITEMS IN SHOP :(.

They have got issues at the moment.

Is this only withdrawels or is it deposits too?
Rather new to silk road... how long does it on average take for accounts to get from your btc account to your SR account?

seems like only withdrawals are affected. not deposits. one would assume that if SR had a problem with deposits, they'd have that issue fixed within the hour.

He (wumg00) sent me on ฿-45.00 ฿14.31 February 6, 2012, 8:32 pm UTC ( 45 bitcoins) from the following bitcoin address: 1Fun9y8YLj4jx6u26QvjxdnUF7Bj6QGEWL through his own SR-account to my bitcoin adress: 17cAQhwH58SdivUhzvxoPxCwmWfPq6ZXQ3 It's been now more than just a few hours and I still didn't received my bitcoins. It's been taking really too long! >:(
it might be 24 hours if at all. thats how long it took for one of my withdrawals. i dont understand why you didn't just send to his username instead of using the actual bitcoin address. sending to another username seems to be working flawlessly.

Moved 138 btc out of my sr account and nothing yet. Been over a day. Emailed SR admin and no response yet. This sucks.

You would think there would be more communication from SR. They are losing money from vendors who have no choice but to go on vacation mode. Its been almost three days and nothing has shown up.

In total im missing 23.20 btc now. Before I had the same problem and SR refunded me with a direct transfer but now nothing yet. Im wondering if this is a technical glitch and that the coins get sent to a wrong address or if the coins dont get send at all?

DPR got back to me after a day or two, but the coins had already transferred on their own by then. It just took an extra long time.

the coins are never being sent, because the transaction never appears in the block chain.
a better question would be: is this an intentional glitch or really even a glitch at all?

Would like to add my experiences - when transferring to SR had taken anywhere between 2 and 48 hours. Always using same algorithm, so no rational explanation.
I am buyer not seller, so dont have as much experience with withdrawing, but after reading all threads like this, decided to try it out - SR to instawallet unverified took like 15 minutes, now waiting for enough confirmations to resend back to SR. So, both ways working for me.

We are having the same problems. Missing withdraws, nothing in block explorer.
Anyone use the auto withdraw and have the same problem?
I manually transfer since it seems i have to check every transaction to make sure it goes through.

I auto and lost 113 coins yesterday. Only 14 showed up in wallet and nothing in block explorer other than those 14.
